The installation included high efficiency equipment including GRUNDFOS Condenser water pumps, extensive copper piping, STULZ InRow Coolers, Schneider Electric CRAC units, VRF systems, and dedicated backup AC units, ensuring redundancy and reliability. Diesel flues and dedicated ventilation was installed in the basement.

Equipment included specialised 33kW InRow coolers servicing the showroom, critical server infrastructure and emergency room, specialised 3 x 66kW CRAC unit in computer rooms, and a generator and UPS backup vital to their operations.

This upgrade bolstered the company’s infrastructure with ample backup systems, supported by a dedicated controls system and monitoring for switching between backup systems.

Precise Air boosting apprenticeships https://www.preciseair.com.au/precise-air-boosting-apprenticeships/ Wed, 02 Dec 2015 13:00:00 +0000 http://sandbox.kookacreative.com/preciseair/precise-air-boosting-apprenticeships/ Precise Air boosting apprenticeships across the country

While the number of apprenticeships has declined in Australia by 20%*, Precise Air is committed to developing the next generation of HVAC technicians by boosting its apprentice numbers around the country.

“At a time when businesses are taking on fewer apprentices, we are bucking the trend by investing in the future of our company, and our industry,” said Nadeem Tayar, Managing Director of Precise Air Group.

“We are known throughout the industry for our ability to ‘think outside the box’ and for the high quality skills of our tradespeople”, Nadeem continued. “We want to ensure that there is a pipeline of high quality, customer focused tradespeople. They will be technically adept and nimble enough to move with technological change and the increasing focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.”

With over 20 apprentices already employed around the country, Precise Air is looking to increase these numbers with new apprenticeships in the following areas:

  • 3 in Sydney
  • 1 in Canberra
  • 2 in Brisbane
  • 1 on the Gold Coast
  • 1 in Perth.

Outstanding trainees will be included in our Chris Noble Apprentice Programme that was launched in September this year. Each year, apprentices in the Programme will be in the running for a number of awards for their dedication to learning, customer service and how they apply themselves to their work. For more information about this programme, click here.

Suitable applicants will have completed their HSC, be mechanically minded, have a good attitude, a willingness to learn and an ability to attend TAFE. If this sounds like someone you know, please ask them to apply by clicking on the link on our Careers page.

* According to the National Centre for Vocational Education apprenticeships declined by 19.8% on the previous year to March 2015.

Precise Air Group Toy Drive for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead https://www.preciseair.com.au/precise-air-group-toy-drive-for-the-childrens-hospital-at-westmead/ Sun, 22 Dec 2013 13:00:00 +0000 http://sandbox.kookacreative.com/preciseair/precise-air-group-toy-drive-for-the-childrens-hospital-at-westmead/ This festive season Precise Air Group held an in-office toy drive to collect donations for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. The Children’s Hospital cares for children from newborns up to 17 years of age. Each holiday season many children and families celebrate the holidays whilst at the hospital receiving care. Children at The Children’s Hospital receive care for everything from paediatric emergencies to tertiary level paediatric care.

Toy Donation

“For some of our patients, there are events throughout the year where presents, parties and fun with family and friends is just a dream.  For our sick children, the reality is that meaningful events such as birthdays and Christmas often occur in-between medical treatment and lengthy stays in Hospital.  Receiving a brightly-wrapped gift makes their journey that little bit easier.

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Toy Appeal is a great way to support our sick kids and the Hospital during these special time.” – The Children’s Hospital at Westmead

Precise Air Group had the pleasure of donating gifts from our very successful toy drive to the little patients who will not be able to be home this festive season. The toy drive is part of our ongoing effort to enrich the local community and give back in every way we can.
