Since 2015 the team has delivered mechanical and chiller services to Gold Coast Airport’s Domestic and International terminals and the Ivy Pearce building.

Ensuring the comfort and safety of tenants and the broader community remains our paramount concern. As a dynamic site with high security requirements, we rely on our integrated technology platforms to ensure that all team members are ASIC inducted and trained, that they are in the right locations at the right time and have access to all asset history data.

“Precise Air’s strategic approach to lifecycle asset management, compliance, and proactive maintenance initiatives reduces downtime to maintain seamless operations across the precinct” said Precise Air’s General Manager David Ross.

Precise Air boosting apprenticeships https://www.preciseair.com.au/precise-air-boosting-apprenticeships/ Wed, 02 Dec 2015 13:00:00 +0000 http://sandbox.kookacreative.com/preciseair/precise-air-boosting-apprenticeships/ Precise Air boosting apprenticeships across the country

While the number of apprenticeships has declined in Australia by 20%*, Precise Air is committed to developing the next generation of HVAC technicians by boosting its apprentice numbers around the country.

“At a time when businesses are taking on fewer apprentices, we are bucking the trend by investing in the future of our company, and our industry,” said Nadeem Tayar, Managing Director of Precise Air Group.

“We are known throughout the industry for our ability to ‘think outside the box’ and for the high quality skills of our tradespeople”, Nadeem continued. “We want to ensure that there is a pipeline of high quality, customer focused tradespeople. They will be technically adept and nimble enough to move with technological change and the increasing focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.”

With over 20 apprentices already employed around the country, Precise Air is looking to increase these numbers with new apprenticeships in the following areas:

  • 3 in Sydney
  • 1 in Canberra
  • 2 in Brisbane
  • 1 on the Gold Coast
  • 1 in Perth.

Outstanding trainees will be included in our Chris Noble Apprentice Programme that was launched in September this year. Each year, apprentices in the Programme will be in the running for a number of awards for their dedication to learning, customer service and how they apply themselves to their work. For more information about this programme, click here.

Suitable applicants will have completed their HSC, be mechanically minded, have a good attitude, a willingness to learn and an ability to attend TAFE. If this sounds like someone you know, please ask them to apply by clicking on the link on our Careers page.

* According to the National Centre for Vocational Education apprenticeships declined by 19.8% on the previous year to March 2015.
