Like all workplaces, we acknowledge that facility managers and building owners have a duty of care to ensure that all hazards are identified and managed as best as reasonably practicable, to protect occupants, visitors, and their clients’ assets.

Precise Air Group’s National HSEQ team designed a fast and efficient online hazard reporting system using LinkSafe, harnessing technology to improve hazard identification, reporting and escalation on client managed sites.

This solution was borne out of Precise Air Group’s “IT’s OK TO SAY NO” commitment to its workers, to STOP, EVALUATE & ESCALATE if ever they feel at risk in carrying out a task.

Congratulations to Richard Bagnato and Michelle Feldman in developing our solution, and providing the training, and special thanks to our Team Leaders whose proactive implementation of the solution has made this nomination possible.

Traditionally, because our work is very physical and involves working in high risk environments, we subconsciously tend to focus our minds to the risks to our physical safety. RUOK? day provided us with the perfect framework to really check in with our teams about their mental and emotional safety.

Some of the most interesting conversations have been around opening up to colleagues and friends about how much of an influence external or social factors can impact on your physical health and safety at work. There is also a great appreciation of our EAP programme with AccessEAP and the benefits that individual team members have experienced by accessing their services.
