Financial modelling for chillers

Qantas property requested Precise Air’s Building Performance Optimisation (BPO) team along with the mechanical maintenance team to do an evaluation of the existing chilled water system at the freight terminal building in Sydney airport.

The BPO team reviewed the current energy consumption and calculated savings that could be achieved using the new, more efficient chillers.

The team put forward three solutions which included supply, engineering, commissioning and preventative maintenance of the new chillers.

These options were presented the energy and dollar savings, risk assessment and the benefits of having a new system installed.
