City Of Canada Bay Council

Precise Air was contracted to devise and provide an energy efficient upgrades programme to a number of the City of Canada Bay Council buildings. These included the 50 year old Canada Bay Civic Centre
and the adjacent cottage.

Precise Air’s solution included replacing existing HVAC plant with a VRF Heat recovery solution with improved heating and cooling coefficient of performance ratings, and a new BMS controls system. Our Programme improved energy management and consumption by 57%.

This programme was part of the Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP), a competitive merit-based grant program that provides co-funding to local governing bodies and non-profit community organisations.

The CEEP’s purpose is to implement projects that deliver a range of energy efficiency measures in council and community owned buildings, facilities and sites. Any successful project solution under the CEEP must optimise both the economic and environmental outcomes.
